自 1989 年以来，美国砖石协会 (bia) 就赞助了美国最负盛名的建筑奖项之一：砖石建筑奖。作为唯一一个同时代表制造商和经销商的全国性协会，美国砖石协会是粘土砖行业的权威。经过多年的积淀，砖石建筑奖也已成为首屈一指的聚焦于烧制粘土砖的国际领先设计竞赛。

今年该奖项还引入了一个全新的薄砖类别。最终的 45 个获奖项目来自美国、澳大利亚、加拿大、中国和德国。如视频所示，全部的获奖项目包括 9 个最佳建筑、10 个金奖、8 个银奖、17 个铜奖和 1 个综合工艺奖建筑。
